Volunteers play a major role within the Randolph Mountain Club-- in fact, they run the club! The RMC Board of Directors, which manages both the long term and the day-to-day operation of the club, is completely volunteer-based.

The club also relies on volunteer assistance in other facets of its operation. During the summer, the RMC schedules a number of trail work trips. Generally, these work trips focus on accomplishing basic trail maintenance, such as brushing or cairning. Information on work trips is listed in the RMC spring mailing to members and can also be found in this web site.

Volunteers are needed to lead RMC's twice-weekly hikes during the summer months. For more information, please e-mail the RMC's Work Trip Planner.

In the past, RMC has also used volunteers for countless other projects, from trail work, to construction efforts at the camps, to social events around Randolph and in the mountains. If you're interested in helping out, drop either the Trails Chair, the Camps Chair, or the Events Chair an e-mail.

Summer Work Trips are a great way for RMC Members to volunteer.
