The RMC caretakers are the face of the RMC for visitors, welcoming and assisting guests, while ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of the camps. Two caretakers are hired for the summer, one for Gray Knob and one for Crag Camp. The rest of the year, one caretaker supervises all four RMC camps from Gray Knob. Fill-in and part-time caretakers are also hired to staff RMC camps while the RMC’s regular caretaker is taking days off.
